Hello,

When a recipient opts out I assume that it will add or move that email to the "Unsubscribes" tab of that contact list. Does it also add the email to the suppression list? What are the differences between the "Unsubscribes" and the suppression list?

If an email is on the "Unsubscribes" tab of one list and then a new list is imported with that same unsubscribed email will the program catch that in the new list? Same question, if the email in question is on the suppression list?

Thanks

    Hello Jim,

Thank you for contacting NamasteLight Support.

Each Mailing List within NamasteLight is it's own separate unique entity. There is no cross-checking. Therefore, if someone is unsubscribed in one list, it will not affect the others they may be subscribed to.

However, if they are on the Suppression List, they will never receive a campaign from your account even if they are listed as Active. The Suppression List is an account wide way to prevent someone from receiving a campaign from your account.

When someone Unsubscribes, they are not necessarily added to the Suppression List. They would have to click 'Unsubscribe from All Lists' or report your campaign as Spam.

    I hope this helps!

    Namaste,

    Juju
